Beth Kerner creates mixed-media abstract works with a thoughtful combination of rope, impasto, paint, ocean water, and other natural and technical materials. Rope has been used since prehistoric times; she employs it as a symbol connecting people and bridging past with present and future. Her hope: that amidst our ever-evolving high-tech culture, we maintain a strong connection to the natural world.
